Bature Brewery Lagos

Bature Brewery set on a journey in 2021 to open the doors to the Tap Room and host the first Felabration in Victoria Island, winning the African Celebration Award for best use of African ingredients. Since then the brewery has gone from strength to strength, launching internationally celebrated brews including Lagos Lager, Founders Pale Ale, NEPA (Naija Electric Pale Ale), and the legendary Black Gold, all of which have taken awards at the World Beer Awards. In 2023 the brewery launched Shakara, a tribute to Fela Kuti, Afrobeats, and in collaboration with the King of Covers, Lemi Ghariokwu, winning multiple international awards and gaining recognition globally.

Taproom, Events & Community at Bature Brewery Lagos

Bature Brewery Lagos is set in a stylish urban-industrial space with exposed brick walls and sleek metal accents, blending the authenticity of homemade craft with the warmth of community. The taproom is a relaxed, welcoming space where guests can sample the full range of beers on draft, pair them with a menu of delicious pub fare including burgers, fries, and wings, and enjoy the kind of unpretentious, convivial atmosphere that makes every visit feel like time well spent. Weekends bring live music and events, while creative collaborations keep the taproom fresh and culturally relevant. Bature Brewery Lagos is open Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 PM to midnight and Friday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Brewery tours can be booked by emailing info@baturebrewery.com.
